Parent & Athlete Code of Conduct

Team Bogans Basketball is committed to providing every athlete with a safe, positive, and developmentally enriching experience. This program exists not only to develop basketball skills, but to build character, resilience, and respect — qualities that will serve our players far beyond the court.

This Code of Conduct sets forth the standards of behavior expected of every parent, guardian, and athlete associated with this program. These standards are not suggestions — they are binding conditions of participation. Every family joins this program with full knowledge that the conduct of parents and guardians directly shapes the environment experienced by all of our athletes.

Please read each section carefully. You will be asked to initial each individual commitment and provide a full signature at the end. By completing this form, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to uphold every provision contained herein.

  • The atmosphere created by adults in the stands directly affects every child on the floor — not just your own. Research consistently shows that negative adult behavior is the single greatest reason young athletes quit organized sports. Youth sports should be a joyful experience. Parents and guardians set the emotional tone. The items below are non-negotiable standards that every adult affiliated with this program must honor.
